Daeron leaning in, asking questions, letting his guard down thinking maybe he could bond with his father before Ormund pauses, gives him the look and you can visibly see the distance return between them, Daeron stiffening and averting his gaze, like they both put the mask back on
This scene is very dear to me.
The expressive facial movements, leaning in, enthusiastically speaking almost like a loving father storytelling to his son, daeron engaged in the lesson, seeing this as an opportunity to bond with Ormund, before it all vanishes moments later

He was drawing out on a piece of paper a draft sketch of what the assassins must do and how to pose each person down to the font of the writing and thats just #mycanon
I know its a mere easter egg to the last supper painting but in my head with what Alicent said, I can imagine Ormund’s theatrical poetic self taking inspiration from art pieces within the realm to stage that intentional composition, especially with how particular he is
I am so not normal about this man and his mannerisms, he functions purely on suppression, every minor inconvenience is bottled up until the bottle shatters suddenly and he snaps, before he remembers himself and glues the pieces back together only to repeat the cycle again
And again.. the deep shaky breath as the game did not go according to his vision, suppressing that snap by throwing the chess pieces, erasing any sign of the inconvenience before smiling and changing the subject to the coins, putting his day back on track as planned.
