At the World Senior Chess Championships 2025 in Gallipoli 🇮🇹, IM Alexander Reprintsev 🇺🇦 won the title in the 65+ category. At the prize giving ceremony he was totally surprised that this also would bring him the grandmaster title. Never too old to become a GM!
