“She’s not his property,” Azriel snarled, shoving down the pain with five centuries of training. “She can do what she likes. She gets to choose who to share her body with.”
The more I turn this scene around in my head the more I love Azriel... Lucien has only ever looked away when witnessing someone being abusive (Tamlin, Jurian's rape "jokes" about Elain) and, in this moment, he wanted Azriel to do the same, but Az stands his ground :)
será que o choro da elain, em parte, é pelo coração partido do lucien? porque ela pode literalmente sentir o coração dele. será que ela chorou (em parte) porque sentiu a dor física dele? sentiu a alma dele se partindo
no but what's hilarious is that literally all the characters love elain in the books, even the random side characters who are mentioned once on page and never again, even that damn pot was down bad for her
“Az hadn’t been able to stop himself from seeking her out, even with her mate under the same roof. His salvation—that was what Elain was, what he’d been willing to fight for. Well, now it seemed he would.”
