the real problem will never be gwyn’s height or her hair. it’ll always be the fact that sjm introduced a character that threatens their ship, gave her everything they wanted for their fav, more relevance, more personality, and a pov they’ve begged ten years for. they’re coping.
rereading throne of glass and i forgot how much i love being in aelin's head. she is genuinely so funny, smart, cunning, observant and witty. i love her so bad like wow. there will never be anyone like her
oh i hope the inner circle realizes how much they depend on elain's invisible labor while she's gone.... that'll teach them one of the core topics of #feminism
childcare, housekeeping, cooking, baking, gardening, event planning...
you can’t just frame elain as some misunderstood feminist icon because she likes baking and gardening especially when we’ve barely seen her develop any interests or ambitions beyond that, also people aren’t misogynistic for wanting her to have a backbone and some personality
on the day to day responsibilities after feyre, the person who genuinely kept her family alive through her own labour, was gone? like i’m sorry but there’s a difference between enjoying domestic hobbies and being responsible for domestic labour
Just wanted to post Gwyn and Azriel's entire conversation from ACOSH thru Azriel's POV. Gwyn is such a yapper ISTG I love her so much. 😂 Their banter is fueled by how lowkey annoyed they are with each other. Still, Az kept replying to whatever Gwyn throws at him, vice versa. Their dynamic is just top-tier.
Remember how Azriel all gave us the ick after the chapter 20 leak? Like yes we want him with Gwyn, because we see the potential of them, but not if he acts that way. We actually see these characters as INDIVIDUALS, who might match, but if not, then we don’t push it.
