i dont simply go through airport security. i have a goal. i want everyone in line to be blown away by my efficiency. i want to be celebrated as i push my belongings across the table. i want TSA to offer me a job (i’ll decline). i want people talking about me at their gate. glory.
I'm sick of being terrified to go into work. I'm sick of not being cared for. I've never in my career been told "stay home and take care of yourself, stay safe!". We're constantly being reprimanded for not running into every fire. It's always our fault and our responsibility
When the entire city is being burnt down, car windows busted, parking garage rampaged in the name of protests? Sorry, everyone else can stay home but someone's gotta take care of the injured. We'll send down the National Guard to escort you in though!
Sometimes I feel like I’m doing *too* good and I’m a garbage daughter for not being absolutely miserable since the moment I lost my mom. We’ve had good days and a lot of good times. She gave us the gift of positivity and laughter during the hardest times
People saw the “healthcare hero” campaigns, saw what travel nurses are making, and got jealous. It’s also one of the only careers that’s majority women, the only career in science/ medicine that’s majority women. Stop trying to drag us down with this “mean girl” shit
I was made fun alll through elementary and middle school and spent high school taking care of my dying mom before I chose to be a nurse. It’s not a “power thing”, also there’s very little “power” in being a nurse
@atlcharlotte And we have multiple sources that were at the Full Frontal recording that that literally didn’t happen. He handed her a mimosa, he didn’t stick his tongue in her mouth 😂
