We are talking about a man named Alkali Salihu Suleiman, the Chief Imam of Maru Town Mosque, he was 79 years old !!!

He was kidnapped in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State during the month of Ramadan in March, 2025 !!!

But he was not just kidnapped, he was tortured, along with his sons and his infant grandson !!!

Let me explain further the horrors he endured !!!

He was abducted along with his wife, his 2 daughters, his 2 sons, and his grandson !!!

They spent months in captivity !!!

A ransom of ₦20 million was demanded !!!

The family managed to raise ₦11 million, which was paid to the bandits !!!

But instead of releasing them, the bandits killed the Imam, his two sons, and his grandson, who was just an infant !!!

The infant was tortured to death !!!

They set leather bags on fire and dropped burning leather balls onto his toes until he passed away !!!

The Imam was beaten to death alongside his 2 sons !!!

His wife and 2 daughters were the only ones who regained their freedom !!!

Their bodies were never recovered !!!

The bandits threw them into the forest to decay !!!

Salatul Ga'ib prayer for the absent dead, was performed for them, as their bodies were not available for burial !!!

This is our reality !!!
