@JoinThePartyPod top museum recommendation is Le Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature in Paris which includes curiosity cabinets and a 100% “real” dryad.
Also there are red leafed blueberries we have a Cabernet one. It is so pretty.
@morninggloria What’s even worse is I have the termination letter on letterhead but they told the unemployment office that I voluntarily quit. Luckily WA has 12 weeks of paid leave but there’s no job protection so there is a big usability gap.
I’ll need to reach out to @SenatorTrudeau
As someone who was let go for taking parental leave when I didn’t have FMLA job protection, and then denied unemployment because my former employer claimed I quit. The @KyteBaby story and recap from @AlyssaMastro44 and @morninggloria on #hysteria has me fired up all over again.
@mhdksafa One barrier that I hadn’t anticipated was the difficulty finding someone to sponsor hours for apprenticeships. The dads in my local dads group are having a really hard time finding someone with journeymen present and keeping up with safety standards.
In Legends of the Bullseye Games VI @JoinThePartyPod what is the crying baby sound at 8:00? Had an arm full of wet laundry and heard a screaming baby that should be asleep and my heart jumped.
Trying out the Coco Rugbrød from @ArtisanBryan’s New World Sourdough and it felt like it had too little hydration but now I’m scouring the recipe for what I missed. It didn’t say to soak the seeds and quinoa but maybe that was to be understood?
@hankgreen Science is just applying “fuck around and find out” as many times as we can to the same thing until we’re confident that we’re going to find out the same thing every time we fuck around in that way, then repeating that for everything.
@khemaridh That I feel a lot of pressure to make up for early 20s debt. Not actual debt but “debt” like catching up on expected basics like 20% towards retirement and catching up on medical care and meaningful career advancement. Also waiting 5 years for any growth is too long.
1/ The author @W_R_Chase of the original axios article, where the data for this figure comes from, reached out to me saying that @TheHustle didn't use the data appropriately, therefore creating a misleading figure. Let me explain how the figure is misleading:
@HenrikRummel @RDLARK@ailipstein@MattZeitlin I think maybe well off is more what I mean there. Eat the people who make double basic financial responsibility standards for a single person has a weird ring to it.
