@Kanthaswam80359 In india everything has become expensive. The petrol which used to cost 70, post Covid - increased by 30rupees.. isn’t petrol - bloodline of any economy? In US, it’s headline news .. why haven’t we opposed? + compliance is exhaustive. GST, GST monthly+ quarterly, country for CAs!
Norway's Prime Minister rips apart Trump's stupid letter. Love this!
Every leader that receives a letter like this from DJT should do the same.
Thanks for your attention to this matter! BRILLIANT!
Front-of-pack label(FOPL) warnings are the simplest and most effective way to help people make better food choices in India.
A clear “High in Sugar” or “High in Salt” or "High in Fat" warning takes seconds to understand. No calculations. No nutrition knowledge. Just a simple signal that says, “Think twice.”
The problem with systems like Nutri-Score or Health Star Ratings is that they average everything into one score. A product loaded with sugar can still look “healthy” because it has added protein, fiber, or vitamins.
That’s where warning labels are different.
A sugary breakfast cereal still gets HIGH IN SUGAR, even if fibre and vitamins are added to it.
An instant noodle high in sodium still gets HIGH IN SODIUM even if protein and vitamins are added to it.
A packaged fruit juice with excessive free sugars still gets HIGH IN SUGAR, though it's directly from the fruit.
The unhealthy ingredient isn’t hidden behind a better-looking overall FOPL warnings are used.
For a country as diverse as India, warning labels also work across languages and literacy levels. A bold symbol is easier to recognize than interpreting letters, colors, or star ratings.
Sometimes, the simplest system is the one people actually use.
Please tag @fssaiindia and @MoHFW_INDIA and ask that FOPL warnings be implemented with urgency!

@karthik2k2 Also, each district can have very little quota for local state board school from the same district.. this will help avoiding everyone going to “Namakkal” system..
@mkatju Where was this logic when Shivraj Patil resigned after 26/11? His resignation didn’t end terrorism, but it upheld accountability, and P. Chidambaram went on to strengthen India’s security. Resignation isn’t the solution—it’s about taking responsibility for systemic failure
@manoj_216 it's with the people to fight corruption. All want easy way out even if we do everything right. we don't want to argue or go to govt office multiple times. its like paying tip, bribe is for a common man, to get a flawless service! solution: introduce more online services!
@manoj_216 Logical: Govt wants to lose less Tax in the loss adjustment . STCG Tax is 20%, LTCG is 12%, you adjust higher tax loss with lower tax gain. After the adjustment lower LTCG, loss is gone. Then if you make any STCG, you will pay more TAX right?
@sureshsambandam many infra projects are either cancelled or on hold, this impacts livelihoods of many...which shows up in GST collections.. hope budget provides some direction...
@njalva If the vehicle is E20 compliant (since 2009 - all Honda vehicles are compliant), this looks like what we are getting is more than E20 - it may be e30 .. no one knows..
