@davidfowl@st0yanov I was actually very surprised how well Claude is able to have cross agents "talk" , an agent per repo can message other agents and keep their repo knowledge in their own context (and works quite well in backend / frontend setups)
@GergelyOrosz The class of people that buys BMWs in the first place doesn't seem to be bothered in the first place. They barely know how to use turn signals.
The whole reason Silicon Valley dominated for decades was the promise: build here, we’ll protect your intellectual property, we won’t interfere with your business, the courts work, the rule of law holds. That was the deal.
If you’re a brilliant AI researcher in London or Seoul or Berlin or Bangalore right now, and you’re watching the President of the United States threaten criminal prosecution against an AI company for having ethics, why would you build in America? Why would you incorporate there? Why would you put your IP under that jurisdiction?
Trump just blew that up on X in all caps.
As most of you know, I'm from Germany, so I was able to watch the entire interview with Peter Steinberger on "Zeit im Bild."
It was incredibly painful. Not because of Peter's answer, but because the journalist's questions-typically German-Austrian - almost exclusively revolved around whether we should be afraid of AI, whether data privacy is being respected, what dangers OpenClaw poses, and so on.
The hottest topic in the world was talked down. Instead of sparking curiosity and enthusiasm among viewers, the program ultimately only stirred up more anxiety and resentment. A damning indictment of Europe.
@pmddomingos They don't hate anything because they're not ICE cold. They only realized the US can cut the power at any time and has no issues blackmailing allies to get what it wants.
Trump is just the trigger.
There are deep historical forces:
The dismantling of the FCC fairness doctrine by Reagan, the resulting emergence of Fox News, conservative talk radio, and other propaganda outlets, the removal of guardrails for the influence of money in politics (e.g. Citizen United), the continuous reduction of taxes on high incomes, the ever-increasing wealth and income inequalities enabled by the above, the stagnation of working class income despite continued increase in productivity (and corporate profits), the total lack of social protection and benefits compared to other developed countries.
People in the middle class and below have been screwed for 40 years and are angry.
They should be angry at Republicans.
But the Republican party has managed to deflect their anger towards immigrants, non-Christians, non-whites, liberals, LGBT, China, academia, intellectual "elites", scientists, journalists, and non-existent scarecrows like Antifa.
🚨🇺🇸 BREAKING: Protesters in Los Angeles just projected an anti-ICE video onto a building.
And it wasn’t just any building.
It was Twin Towers, an ICE-linked detention facility where LASD actively collaborates with ICE for deportation screening.
This is what resistance looks like when people stop pretending everything is normal.
I make no apology for posting this photo. I think it’s a photo that will haunt America in the years to come.
This is what you have become. If you defend this, have a word with yourself.
