apart from having to drive in it and clean snow off my car, i’m loving michigan winter. i was here for two weeks in winter before visiting my husband pre visa, but living through it is nice. im enjoying not sweating constantly like how i was in summer.

compared to scottish winter, too, where it’s just raining most of the time and the sun sets at 3.30pm at the worst of it, and my parents house didn’t really get warm even with the radiators on. one year i could see my breath as i was trying to go to sleep.
