in jaemin’s 2014 goals, he specifically wrote to follow and do the basics (training) together with mark hyung and correct parts that his mark hyung points out.

super fast forward. jaemin went all the way to mark’s golden hour filming site (when mark only jokingly asked him to come bcs it was far away) and quite literally dropped the teaser pics of golden hour through his ig post.

on fraktsiya’s release date, which is right after dream’s return from ny’s jingle ball, mark went to jaemin’s house and had a meal together before their next schedules.

jaemin was also there from the first fruit’s album jacket photoshoots in new york, came to +82pressin mv filming site, sent food truck to 1999 filming site, all the supports until its release and music show performance.

likewise, mark supported jaemin including the beginning of jaemin as nctdream’s center, all the way to jaemin’s narcissism project, languages learning journey, lyricisms, drama acting, nct jnjm, and so much more.

there are so many instances of their strong supports for each other in front of the camera, let alone what goes on behind the scene. and i guest what i’m trying to say is. mark seems to be a very dear existence to jaemin and someone that he looks up to.

to see jaemin staying strong esp on the last concert day is admirable and quite heartbreaking at the same time. realize that it was jaemin trying his best to make his last concert with his dear mark hyung to end on a bright note, to ensure that everyone remembers that they created happy memories together. he did not offer false promises. he said the end of something is the beginning of something else. idk if he meant it that way but it applies to both mark and dream. he said that we will meet again, and we will.

so i hope we can all be kinder to jaemin, who is also supporting his dear mark hyung on his new beginning. it must’ve not been easy for him too in a way. and we can all support them wherever they are, whatever they do, the way they always do for each other.
