T-7 days until @NASA_Johnson's Open House!

On Saturday, Oct. 14, we’ll open the gates to the public celebrating @NASA's 65th anniversary, the @Space_Station's 25th anniversary and the upcoming Artemis missions to the Moon.

We’ll have something for all ages! Visitors will get a free, behind-the-scenes look at some of the agency’s most historic accomplishments and learn about the exciting work we are doing to return humans to the Moon & prepare for Mars. We will distribute eclipse glasses to guests, so that we can view the annular solar eclipse together at 11:58 a.m.

Fabrication and assembly of Gateway’s Power and Propulsion Element (PPE) are well underway at @Maxar Palo Alto. The team recently completed assembly of the PPE’s central cylinder and will place it through a series of tests to ensure the hardware’s integrity for future flight.
