“there’s no such thing as forever, but the hope that something is forever is love. i think the feeling of not wanting to let go yet wanting to let them go is also love”
Dahil emotional ako today and highly unregulated, mag long post ako.
Wala talagang sense mga haters ni Mark sakin but I won’t lie if I say seeing Mark get hated on doesn’t affect me.
Wala e, lalabs ko yung tao e.
Those who were hurt by him leaving or by him wearing that shirt, sure, wala na ko masasabi diyan because who wasn’t hurt by either or both of those things? But making jokes about his religion, spreading misinformation, treating him worse than T***, etc.
Yeah, that’s where I draw the line.
Nakakapagod lang kasi. Every time we celebrate him, dami tumatahol. Huminga lang siya, BARK BARK BARK. People defend him or speak up for him haters he like “uhm actually” na para bang holier than thou pero di naman siya kilala personally.
Ang sakit talaga makita that the person who brings me comfort and healing has to go through this because some trolls are getting comfortable saying shit online because, guess what? They won’t be held accountable. Their lives are so miserable that they have to lash out at one person who’s just doing his best despite the storms coming his way and trying to uplift people with him. He’s been put on such a high pedestal over the years that one mistake has such a huge impact. And y’all insist erasing his contributions because of that one mistake na para bang one mistake makes up his entire being. He made a mistake but he’s not the horrible person you all make him out to be— those two truths can co-exist at the same time as people are multifaceted beings.
“But he’s a celebrity, he should be put on a higher standard.” And he is. He’s held to an impossible standard, might I say.
I’m not saying he’s perfect but you know? He has set the bar high about this whole thing: he took accountability, he acknowledged his mistake, apologized, and promised to do better.
As someone who loves him, I can only trust the kind of person he has shown and continues to prove himself to be: a good person.
Finally, it’s okay if you’re hurt or feel betrayed but like, don’t go into safe spaces for him to diss and spread hate? Anong point niyo dun? “Di kita bati pag bati mo siya.” Kinder yarn? Apaka herd mentality. Tama na kayo diyan. Let people support who they want to support without shaming them. You aren’t entitled to other people’s choices and lives.
So bali 1, 2, 3 kanya kanya na tayo.
If you have nothing good to say about him, don’t engage na.
And for those who continue to support him: thank you and you definitely aren’t alone.
Oks, sorry tama na muna ako. 😭🩵
Anyways, I love Mark Lee.

Q. what are the pros and cons of having 5 members?
🐻 of course, we couldn’t help but feel the absence of 2 members who didn’t participate in this album, as well as another member who decided not to be with us. there were some parts that those members were really good at, but i think the five of us are also capable enough to handle those parts well. so we went into the album with a lot of confidence, and i think the results turned out well too, so we’re really proud of it. as for the advantages of being 5 members group, one of them is that we can prepare things a little faster.
🗣: And this year, Mark left the group. Since you had been together for such a long time, I imagine the members must have had a lot of different thoughts and feelings about it. After Mark left, what kinds of conversations did you have with one another as you thought about the team’s future and direction?
TY: As for Mark, speaking about him as someone who walked this path with us for ten years, I personally have a great deal of respect for him. Having watched from beside him and seen how hard he worked over those ten years, even while being part of two teams himself, I genuinely want to support him. Since we are each on different paths now, I think all I can really say is that I respect and support the path he has chosen.
"regarding mark’s departure, after having been together for such a long time since their trainee days, leader taeyong began by saying, “speaking as a member who has walked this path for 10 years, i personally respect him.”
he continued, “i know how much he’s struggled and worked hard over these 10 years. having watched him from the side while he was doing both teams, i want to support him.”
he added, “since everyone has their own different path, i just want to say that i respect and support the path that each person chooses.”"
