Also, I was awarded the Quinn Award in Ophthalmology by the president of @RCSI_Irl Prof. Ronan O’Connell.

في الذكرى الرابعة لرحيل أمير الحكمة والبصيرة، الشيخ صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح، نستذكر رجلاً استثنائياً، قائدًا نذر حياته لخدمة وطنه وأمته. لم يكن رحمه الله أميراً فحسب، بل كان أباً للجميع، احتوى بحنانه شعبه، ومد جسور المحبة م�� كل من عرفه. كان رجل دولة من الطراز الرفيع، قاد الكويت بحنكة نحو الازدهار وجعلها تتألق في الساحات الدولية بفضل حكمته وبصيرته التي لا تضاهى.

لقد كان مهندس السياسة الخارجية الكويتية وعميد الدبلوماسيين في العالم، رمزاً للعمل الإنساني وعنوانًا لحل الخلافات وبث السلم في كل الأرجاء. بفضله، كانت الكويت منارة للسلام ووطنًا للأمان.

رحمك الله يا صباح الأحمد، وأسكنك فسيح جناته، فقد كنت أباً قبل أن تكون أميراً، وقائداً عالمياً قبل أن تكون رمزاً للوطن. نسأل الله أن يجزيك عنا وعن الإنسانية خير الجزاء، وأن يظل عطاؤك محفوراً في قلوبنا وذاكرتنا إلى الأبد.
