@_Saretz @randyheart0 Problem is 9 times out 10 large companies good or not almost always take the easiest solution which usually isn't good for the customer. valve as much as I like them aren't exempt from this rule. I respect your solution if its possible I support it.

@_Saretz @randyheart0 Majority of the solutions I've seen pitched would likely end with a worse experience for customers and lead to more scummy practices.

@_Saretz @randyheart0 Im not defending the guy abusing the system. But people who abuse these systems will always find a way. Making a call to action over a system that actually protects a majority of customers unlike other platforms with no clear solution is what I have a problem with.

@_Saretz @randyheart0 If I made a game solo and made even 50 bucks I'd be ecstatic. If what I saw was correct and he lost 20% due to refunds which was around 55k that's still roughly 80% still going to his pocket.

@bee_fumo its 2 hours because much larger games specifically AAA games have much longer intro experiences. by shortening it you risk the opposite problem. Indie games are thriving these days. if you absolutely must make a short experience then you need to accept the consequences it brings.

@AustriaAnime @Zoroarts @Steam The game is 5 dollars when not on Sale. Adding arbitrary rules to the refund policy could make things way worse for the customer and could lead to slopware devs having an easier time scamming people. Life isnt always fair and this is just the cost of having a game like this.

@Zoroarts @Steam Look I get it it sucks when people do this. but this is kinda on you for charging 5 dollars for an experience that can be completed within the 2 hour limit. Either reduce the game to 3 dollars where people will be less likely to refund or make your experience longer.
