@whitebirds32 First of all dont rush! Mastering the pinyin and its pronounciation takes you a long way! Even young native kids start with these. Next is the book itself? One lesson gives enough time to grasp the vocabulary and grammar. Start familiarizing yourself with the strokes the chars.

I was 0.4 percent away from being a topnotcher. It HURTS like hell but we can’t change anything and be grateful. (Also proud to my friends that got into the Top 10)

But in the end, the results mattered the most. My goal was to pass and become a licensed engineer 🥰🥺

A few months ago, I was studying for my board exams. It was extremely tiring, excruciating, and stressful. In 3 months, I studied non-stop, cried a lot, and even got extremely sick.

I aimed to be part of the Topnotcher list (I immediately assumed that I will pass the boards)

And alas, results came out. Our school was a hundred percent passing rate so we need not to look for our names individually (It was SUCH as great relief). I even prayed that that would happen, too.
