It is surprising that so much public money is wasted on useless innovations.

Consider Digi Yatra line for example: the entire point of Digi Yatra was that people will be able to fast-track the checkins

People gave all the data to a private company (first; massive privacy issue-- no one bothered)

In Airports like Bengaluru, DigiYatri lines are longer than normal lines.

In Goa Airport, I have often seen customers standing clueless on how to use the App. So a guard comes and teaches them.

So the entire objective of saving time went out of the window.

Crores of money down the drain.

India and US have one of the worst Airport security check experiences. If we were really bothered with people saving their time: we would have focused on improving the security check experience. The way Thailand and Dubai have already done.

Now, again crores would be spent on installing ATMs in trains. Like really what does it really solve?

At the end of the day, it is taxpayer's money. Start asking sensible questions.
