Last week, over 50 adjuncts rallied outside SCA to demand a fair contract. Our message to USC is clear: adjuncts are united and ready to take action. Status quo has got to go!
"USC has strived mightily to achieve its standing as a world-class institution...we believe it cannot lay claim to that reputation without also prioritizing the well-being of the faculty who do the lionโs share of the teaching." https://t.co/MQxTl1E2NZ
USC has been delaying at the bargaining table. Join your fellow SCA adjuncts on Thursday at noon to show the administration that we are ready to take action to win the contract we deserve!

Today marks the beginning of TWO union elections in CA joining the surge of organizing to democratize higher ed: Graduate Researchers & Postdocs at Caltech @cgpu_uaw & Adjunct Faculty at USC School of Cinematic Arts @AFAatUSC. Your union siblings across Region 6 have your backs!
In my first semester as an adjunct professor at USC, I'm earning less per week than I would if I were on California's Unemployment Insurance. Plus, adjuncts get no benefits. The University doesn't even give us parking! A union can change that. Vote YES!
