UAW members are leading the fight for economic and social justice.

Union candidates ROCK, and the Dropkick Murphys are making sure the whole country hears it! Tonight in Cleveland, we’re rallying to send our @TheIronworkers brother @BPforCongress to Congress.
Go out and vote!
Only 2% of Congress comes from the working class. UAW members across the country are coming together and winning elections to change that. It's time to send working people like Randy Villegas to Congress to deliver for our communities.
Manufacturing jobs in Wisconsin have fallen by 16.3% since NAFTA. That’s over 89,200 fewer manufacturing jobs, according to our new state fact sheets.
An agenda that works for working people is not out of reach, we have the ideas.
"The bargaining process works. We hope that we can reach a deal. We all want to keep doing our work. But if the administration will not give us the basic demands that we have, we will have to strike, and we will.”

"Working people’s share of national income has fallen to a record low, even as corporate profits soar to unthinkable new heights. The trend reflects decades of eroded worker power, and reversing it will take a revitalized labor movement."

UAW Local 405 members who work at Triumph Group in West Hartford, CT, are taking a strike authorization vote today. After years of falling behind while the company makes record profits, they're ready to send Triumph a clear message: "It's our time!

Making unions stronger and corporations and billionaires weaker is an essential step to strengthening American democracy, says author Hamilton Nolan. https://t.co/7hsWIN6rNR
ICYMI: With less than two weeks until Election Day, the UAW is leading its most ambitious political operation in decades in some of the country’s most critical and high-profile races.

“'We moved Columbia on some of the main sticking points for us in their last offer, and with that movement we were able to reach a unanimous tentative agreement,' said Anna Yoney, CPW-UAW unit chair and bargaining committee member."

Susan Collins and her billionaire allies are spending millions in this race trying to tell you who Troy Jackson is.
Let me save them some money.
I’ll tell you who I am…
Why is GM nickel and diming their workers if they have billions for stock buybacks?
These profits belong, first & foremost, to the workers who created them. Sending them to Wall Street & their executives is gross abuse of corporate power. Give it back!
Now more than ever, we need to elect a leader in Lansing who stands with working people against powerful corporate interests. We know whose side @JocelynBenson is on; her campaign has taken zero dollars from corporate PACs. She's proposing an ambitious agenda that will drive down costs for everyday Michiganders.
The UAW is backing Jocelyn Benson on November 3!
The UAW endorsed only one candidate in this race: Abdul El-Sayed.
Our endorsement process is member driven. UAW members overwhelmingly chose to support Abdul because he's the ONLY candidate for U.S. Senate in Michigan that is aligned on our core issues -- and the only one that has ever showed up for UAW members when called on.
Nobody else in this race can say that.
ICYMI: "When GM is spending $20 billion buying back their own stock but only half that investing in factories, equipment, and productive capacity, they are choosing Wall Street profits over blue collar America." — @ShawnFainUAW

Honored to have been invited to join the UAW Toledo Area CAP Council for their candidate meet and greet. There’s no substitute for hearing directly from the workers who keep our communities running, and I’m grateful for every conversation. I’m proud to stand alongside them in the fight for good union jobs, fair wages, and a secure retirement for every worker.
Early voting is underway, so make your plan to vote, and I’ll see you at the polls!
Here's UAW President Shawn Fain with Abdul El-Sayed talking trade and tariffs.
This is why the UAW is proud to be an early endorser of El-Sayed for Michigan's next U.S. Senator.
GM just announced the biggest stock buyback in automotive industry history.
Instead of investing in their workers or new product lines, GM executives are robbing from the future to pay themselves and their shareholders today.
Stock buybacks should be illegal.
The only “UAW for Rogers” is the UAW members left waiting for Rogers in the hallway with the trash can because he wouldn’t meet with them.
Here’s what his UAW member constituents thought of him while he was in Congress: https://t.co/rMwU9Y7MMa
