Clifton Clyde track and field had a huge day on Thursday at the Rock Creek meet. 3 different school records were set despite windy conditions. Brady Pruser set a new school record in the pole vault jumping 13’10. The previous record was set in 1987 at 13’9 by Matt Bechard. Junior Jordi Fahey set a new pole vault record on the girls side jumping 10’1. This currently ranks her at #1 in 1A. Junior Kalyn Baker set a new Clifton-Clyde discus record with a throw of 134’1.5. The previous record was 129’8 set in 2000 by Tammy McCarren. This ranks Baker at #2 in 1A and 7th in all classes. #sportsinkansas
