The 2025 #NFL Regular Season is in the books! What better time to analyze league wide QB play than now!
To do so, I will be using a statistic I created, #QuBeR, and breaking down the league in my latest (FREE) Substack article π

The #NFL's Big-4 are Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, and Patrick Mahomes.
In a single regular season, none of those QBs have been on a team that beat the other 3.
Until now.
While we wait for the #Bills primetime game tonight there are plenty of other contests to keep an eye on.
Who should #BillsMafia be rooting for in those? I've got you covered π
#BILLS MINI MATCHUP PREVIEW WEEK #2
BUF PASS OFF ποΈ NYJ PASS DEF
Josh Allen and Co showed off just how potent their air attack could be in a dominant showing against one of the league's most talented secondary. The Jets don't have as much talent but with a player like Sauce Gardner in the secondary and Will McDonald rushing off the edge this isn't going to be a cakewalk.

BUF RUSH OFF ποΈ NYJ RUSH DEF
Buffalo's ground game never really got going against the Ravens, and there is no reprieve to be had against the Jets. Quinnen Williams is going to cause issues up the middle, while the highly aggressive combo of Quincy Williams and Jamien Sherwood are likely to meet runners at the line of scrimmage more often than not.

BUF PASS DEF ποΈ NYJ PASS OFF
Justin Fields had a really nice showing in week 1 against a Steelers team that was supposed to cause issues for opposing passers. To lock him down through the air, Buffalo will need to make him 1-dimensional and then take away the always dangerous Garrett Wilson.

BUF RUSH DEF ποΈ NYJ RUSH OFF
Going from Lamar Jackson & Derrick Henry to Justin Fields & Breece Hall may be slightly less challenging, but it's still an issue. The Bills need to prove they can stop the run before we believe it, and in a game where their best DL (Ed Oliver) won't be on the field they will need someone new to step up and make a play.

Matt Prater looked great in week one, as did Jets kicker Nick Folk, so that's a wash. At Punter for the Bills is a new one in Cameron Johnston, while Jets rookie Austin McNamara had a solid debut last week, point Jets. But where the Bills get the advantage here is in the return game as Brandon Codrington looks every bit of elite while the Jets just cut their elite returner in Xavier Gipson.

SUMMARY
The Jets are always an annoying team for the Bills, and this season they look to be even more annoying. The matchup isn't great as New York operates as Baltimore-lite and is set to expose Buffalo's deficiencies. But at the end of the day, the Bills have 17 under center, and after seeing what he did against the Ravens, there is little reason to think Buffalo doesn't come out of this contest at 2-0.
PREDICTION: BUF 31 - NYJ 20
