That was the last message 17-year-old Caden Speight sent his mom.
Moments later — his phone was found snapped in half.
And now… Caden is missing.

This isn’t just a runaway.
This is a full-blown Amber Alert out of Dunnellon, Florida, and it’s terrifying.

📍 Location: 12800 block of SW Highway 484
👕 Clothing: T-shirt and blue jeans
🚐 Suspects: 4 unknown Hispanic males in a light-colored van
💬 Text to mom: “I need help 4 Hispanics in a white van one driver I’m shot”

Police are searching rivers. Ditches. Woods.
Helicopters are in the sky. Dogs on the ground.
But no Caden.

This story isn’t getting enough attention. And a child’s life is on the line.

Last night during dinner, we got a call that one of Keturah’s 14-year-old friends from youth group was in the ER barely clinging to life from a sudden tragic illness.

My daughter collapsed to the ground and was weeping uncontrollably because she loved this girl so much. Peyton was the first one to invite her to youth group when we moved here and carried a joy and light that would instantly change any atmosphere. She prayed over every person she met and was full of the Holy Spirit. She was a spiritual inspiration to Keturah and she would tell us often of wanting to be more like her.

I was able to get Keturah into the car and drive to the hospital. We brought my guitar and joined her family, friends and the church in worship and prayer. I’ve never shed more tears in a long time praying with her dad. Yet I’ve never felt such a sweet atmosphere of overwhelming peace from the Father.

Watching her family worship in the midst of such a sudden tragedy forever changed me last night. I pray that it changes everyone who reads this too. To worship in full surrender through loss is a privilege we only get to partake in on the earth.

Peyton is now in the arms of Jesus. 😭

And this was text that this sweet girl sent my daughter just 2 days ago:

“Hey Keturah, miss you! Have you been reading your Bible lately?”

Please pray for her beautiful family, parents and brothers, Influence Church and the entire youth group that she was in - there are a tight knit group.

I believe Peyton’s life is a catalyst for revival. There are no answers right now. There is only leaning into Jesus for hope, strength and peace.

And so we keep continue to worship…
