AFA UTK wants the black community to know that we support the fight against racial inequality that was sparked by the murder of George Floyd. We are advocates, not only for people on the spectrum, but for black people in this country facing systemic racism and police violence.
Protesting is one of the greatest ways to advocate, and we stand with those risking their safety to make black voices heard. We are encouraging conversations about racial injustice within our chapter and give our support to orgs dismantling systems that oppress black Americans.
