@QuantK22@atyget They’re blaming him for poor patterns of play, but creating just two clear cut chances against 20th place Wolves with 9 points in 26 games says it all. Look at our last seven games the results have been poor. Six shots on target in the last two League games isn’t good enough.
@Afc_DW Berta didn’t bottle three league titles. And Gyökeres isn’t why we’re losing this one, just watch Jesus and you’ll see it’s bigger than one striker. It’s the system. Slow, sideways, U-shaped football with no attacking intent. That’s the real problem.
@FlexFootballxx@Emzyl_ When this keeps happening year after year, especially in the last seven games where we’ve been awful, it’s on the manager. If the whole 11 looks lost, that’s not a coincidence.
Playing that cautiously against a team 20 places below us is embarrassing.
@MoArsenal86 Even if we did all of that, it still feels like as long as Arteta’s here, we were never winning this league. The happy clappers and Artetasexuals who blindly back everything are finally getting a reality check.
@checky6750@EduardoHagn What about Arteta? He seems to crumble when the pressure’s on, you can see the nerves on his face during games, and that energy filters onto the pitch. When the manager looks tense and cautious, the team plays the same way. He’s a coward.
@checky6750@EduardoHagn No top team wins consistently playing like that. In the end, we got a taste of our own medicine against a team sitting 20th. Man for man we’re miles better, even on an off day but Arteta always has the handbrake on for no reason.
@checky6750@EduardoHagn We lost because Wolves weren’t scared of us, they attacked knowing we were toothless. Apart from the two goals and that clear Martinelli chance, we barely troubled them. It was the same slow, U-shaped football: backwards, sideways, no real intent.
@checky6750@EduardoHagn If it was just two or three players, fair enough. But when all 11 are terrible and no one steps up, that’s on the manager. Constantly giving the ball away, pointless passes, no attacking intent. Just slow sideways football.
@CChahfn94118@EduardoHagn Why is it always Martinelli getting blamed. What about our attack and the way we play? We barely create any chances, then get mad when we miss the one we do get. Why aren’t Jesus, Saka, or Trossard etc getting real chances? This is on Arteta and the slow, predictable football.
@EduardoHagn He should have left after we bottled it in 22/23. Instead, we let him waste the prime years of our players and overplay guys like Saka until he ran him into the ground. Now he’s doing the same with Rice, Timber, and Zubimendi. If he has any dignity, he should resign.
@EduardoHagn This manager can’t even build a system that gets the best out of these players. The amount of times we move the ball slowly, sideways and backwards it’s just this predictable U-shaped football with no penetration. You could sign Yamal and Mbappé tomorrow and they won’t succeed.
@PureAngles It’s not just about the midfield. It’s the way we use the entire team and how we approach games. Everything comes down to how we play. We take more risks playing out from the back than we do when we’re actually attacking. I don’t even understand how that’s possible.
@EduardoHagn We both know that’s not happening, so we might as well congratulate Manchester City. The fact that they’re only four points behind us despite being absolutely dogshit all season long, says a lot about where we are.
