Way I see it: having the entire PL top 6 and others gang up to frame a PL + CL final campaign as a disgrace after the last 2 decades we’ve had is an absolute privilege. It’s beautiful.
I’m being fed gallons and gallons of indirect motivation. The players and the club are too.
I feel like rivals have a very flawed perception of where they are in relation to this Arsenal team.
The realization could put them in a state of a deep depression.
BTW, Arsenal has the most room for improvement too and were SECOND by number of injuries last season.
Dark.
The next season for Arteta and the squad is about proving that they really are who they think they are in England. The PL has to be the biggest ambition, ahead of the CL, for that reason. Kill all the disrespect at home first
this season shattered so many narratives man. “Arteta can never win anything” “City never lose title races” “players are too emotional” “setpieces unsustainable” “can’t win with Gyökeres leading the line” “have to win at Etihad to win the league”
😂😂😂
Right lads, I went through the task of rewatching the Champions League final.
Lots of unfair rhetoric around the game regarding our off the ball approach in response to PSG’s intentions.
Actually, it was what we did with the ball that was the issue, if we do want to criticise the 120 minutes of football.
Got so many thoughts on it, which I could note down in a piece if the interest is there.
On a personal note this has been by a mile the toughest year of my life, after being diagnosed in January, having surgery to remove a 5.5cm tumour from my thyroid, losing 15kg in 5 weeks.
The support I’ve had from The Arsenal has been incredible.
It’s more than just football.
Been saying this for a while, the current talent supply chain isnt sustainable. I keep asking why the big clubs couldn’t scout the likes of semenyo before he went to Bournemouth
Prices for attackers are ridiculous now, big clubs gonna have to start scouting again and cut out the Brightons and Bournemouths. Might as well take a risk with a 10 mil signing than pay 80 mil in 1-2 yrs
