@Michael_Nania Last year it looked like they blended in with the turf at Carolina, followed by several consecutive games without wearing the green jerseys
@BrianCoz@nypostsports Good article. This is a core issue. These are largely avoidable errors by ownership. Timing of MM firing is a multi-year impact. The Jets are spinning their wheels.
@JCaporoso That’s the worst scenario that can happen to the franchise. Should’ve cleaned house at end of 2017 before drafting a QB. As usual, the ill-timed decisions create potential unnecessary obstacles to success
@JCaporoso Tired of this debate. We shouldn’t be here. This is why GMs hire coaches. Mac‘s performance does not warrant the need to continue for more of this timeline/structure issue or an increase in power
@JCaporoso None. It’s just because many expected them to get blown out consistently. The culture is pathetic. Being competitive in games and winning 5 is celebrated.
@JCaporoso Underrate Hansen (reasonably made most of his opportunities, great hands, 3rd down catches). Overrate Stewart, he couldn’t hold a KR role (which led us to experience Natson) and likely didn’t earn the playing time in practice that fans wanted to see
@JCaporoso When discussing the "positives" of winning the 5 games he points to Bowles, but when discussing the downside, he's pointing to McCown. Meaning Bowles is given too much credit for the 5 wins.
@JCaporoso Discuss risk/reward payoff of starting over now v making 18 the make or break yr for Bowles/Macc ..downside is end up firing both at end of 18 after waste-of-time year, as new leadership comes in 19 to restructure roster/staff a yr following critical offseason starting next wk
@JCaporoso I’m tired of hearing about the change in culture...this is a culture where you lay an egg in huge "turn the corner potential" road games this season after patting yourself on the bk after home gm wins. TB & DEN gms say a lot about the coach (issue was more than lack of talent)
