Kamara reporting to OTAs should not be considered odd. Hes basically in contract limbo right now and reporting for anything at least puts teams in a position to decide if they want to push forward or not. Injuries at a team held activity would protect his salary for the year.

I think its just a bad situation swaying opinions. He's coming into a bad situation with no QB to replace the best player on the team. I think too many are viewing him a throw in because the Browns couldnt get a 2nd 1st round pick. Funny thing is if he goes out and has a great year and the Browns would rather have a pick I am sure they could trade him for a 1+ given his age and contract. IMO its better flexibility than just having a 1 alone

@reinhardNFL @corryjoel What do they have to lose? He went 1-11. If they intend on starting him the guarantee is meaningless because they would not be cutting him between now and week 1. The only argument is that he should be paid at the same number as or slightly more than minshew.
