@BBradley_Mans I have FSM children who walk around in designer coats, had holidays to the Dominican Republic cancelled due to covid, have returned to school with acrylics&have put complaints in during school closure re the recipe boxes we put together and demanded the ££ instead

I work in education in a totally deprived area in the midlands&I support the governments decision not to provide FSM during the holidays. I do believe there are families that need our help at these times during the pandemic but these are working class families who @BBradley_Mans

Have never qualified for FSM but now find themselves struggling due to the covid pandemic.. these are the families who we should be helping #greatideabutwrongchildren

@piersmorgan @BorisJohnson @MarcusRashford is right no child should go hungry however, it isn’t the children who get FSM that are struggling.. its working class parents that have been affected by covid that now need our help to support their children due to no fault of their own&do not qualify for FSM

Im a single mum to 4, my children don’t go without, I budget. they don’t have designer clothes or the biggest tv but they do have food in their bellies, roof over their heads,warm beds,full school uniforms, shoes, attend outside clubs #priorities #NoChildShouldGoHungry

Completely confused why education is being used as a babysitting service.. what about the students who are in their exam year. This totally undermines the importance of education and the teaching profession as a whole #lackofrespect

@ayliah66 @GuyClutton @jamesinsurrey I think this is exactly the issue - i have taken my children out today and most people adhered to the social distancing rules except one large group - I removed my children from the ride line due to this as I didn’t want to be accused of being racist #worldsgonemad
