Single best advice I can give to a video editor:

Add motion.

Your video should feel alive.

If everything is static, people scroll. Movement keeps the eye engaged.

And I’m not talking about random zooms.

I mean:

* subtle camera movement

* animated text

* b-roll that flows

* cuts with direction

* elements entering and leaving the frame

Great editors don’t just edit clips. They create momentum.

Stop trying to become the best video editor.

Become the editor creators are scared to lose.

Those are two completely different goals.

One spends all day learning new effects.

The other learns the creator's voice, audience, and workflow so well that replacing them becomes a headache.

If you're still spending an hour cleaning up audio...

You're editing like it's 2022.

Clients don't care how good you are with EQs, compressors, or noise reduction.

They care how fast you deliver.

I stopped wasting hours trying to "fix" bad audio manually.
