In his remarks, Secretary General Amb. Gasamagera Wellars conveyed to members a message from H.E @PaulKagame, Chairman of the RPF - Inkotanyi.
Amb. Gasamagera thanked members for their continued support to the development of the country’s transformational journey, and asked them to continue doing so in their countries of residence. He also assured them of Rwanda's support in their own progress efforts.
"Unity means being together around what connects us — a shared purpose, a common direction, and the values that guide us. We have many bonds that bring us together, including belonging to the same country and upholding the same values. Let us continue to safeguard that unity." - Amb. Gasamagera.
The ownership of our development is key to our achievements📊📈.
A simple example at #Gihara Cell @Kamonyi where citizens put their means together to build infrastructure in their neighborhoods.
We thank our leadership for this impressive #Ubudasa .
“Cooperation only works when it is built on the right foundation.
We are here to discuss partnerships; however, the term seems to mean different things to people.
For some, it is about giving instructions and setting conditions; for others it means complying.
Africa’s experience shows that this approach does not deliver the transformation that we need. A good partnership does not create dependency. It creates value.
If you want to work with Africa, a true and lasting partnership must be equal, with shared risk and reward.” President Kagame | #GlobalGateway #GGF
