A Letter to All Players
Dear Miss Hunters,
We sincerely apologize for reaching out once again. Over the past several days, our team has been closely following your conversations and feedback across all platforms. For the issues that have surfaced since the announcement of Version 6.0—and the frustration these have caused our community—we want to clearly state: we are sorry.
As we've expressed before, our vision for Love and Deepspace has always been to build a world that grows alongside you—one that offers a richer, deeper sense of companionship over time.
As various issues have arisen in recent days, we have moved quickly to make the necessary adjustments. After reflecting on recent events, we recognize that we moved forward with the introduction of Valko before we were truly ready. In doing so, we let down the players who have supported us from the start, and we also fell short of delivering the experience that players anticipating Valko deserved. After extensive internal discussions, we have decided to make the following changes:
1. We have decided to cancel both the launch and any further development of the new love interest. We also commit that no additional love interests will be introduced in future content plans.
2. All other in-game systems and features originally scheduled for Version 6.0—including Home 2.0 and AR Photobooth—as well as the limited-time Selectable 5-Star Memory Rate-Up Event, will proceed as planned. The outfits, photo poses and scenes, and the Nighthush Box (the second-anniversary 4-Star Memory Selection Crate) originally planned as rewards for the Hunt in Linkon event will instead be sent to all players for free via in-game mail after the version update.
3. Going forward, the entire team will focus on further developing the stories and long-term companionship experiences of our five existing love interests, while ensuring a stable pace of Main Story production and updates. Rafayel's new Solar-Slot Memories and Companion will be revealed in July. Farspace Colonel Caleb and Onychinus Leader Sylus will also return in their Main Story branches in September and November, respectively. By participating in the relevant events, players will be able to obtain the corresponding 5-Star Main Story Branch Memories for free. We will continue to devote all our care and effort to bringing you richer stories and game experiences.
4. Beginning today and continuing for 30 days, players who log in each day will receive one Deepspace Wish via in-game mail. Each mail will remain claimable for three days, for a total of 30 Deepspace Wishes. We hope this can offer some compensation for the disappointment and disruption caused by these adjustments.
To our community: once again, we apologize. Because of our actions, the joy you should have found in Linkon City became a source of distress, and the feelings you hold most dear were hurt. We are deeply sorry for the hurt and disappointment we have caused.
Love and Deepspace has always been about sharing love with you and protecting the love we all hold dear. That purpose has never wavered. Every step forward taken by the love interests and Linkon City—from its beginnings to where it stands today—has been shaped by your feedback, your passion, and your trust. It is your presence, care, and companionship that give this world its meaning, and us the strength and direction to move forward.
Over the past two and a half years, we've shared moments of joy and gratitude, as well as challenges and difficult times. Through every late night devoted to making this world better, it has been the moments you've shared in Linkon City—and the love and passion behind them—that have kept us going. We hope to continue walking this road with you, building a world where love can take root, grow, and bloom.
Going forward, we will work harder, listen more carefully, and do our utmost to honor the trust you have placed in us. We will stay focused on delivering the experience you deserve—one filled with love where every moment in Linkon City can once again become a joyful and treasured memory.
Linkon City will always be here for you.
Thank you—for your trust, your honest feedback and encouragement, and for being with us every step of the way. Your companionship has helped light the path ahead, and your faith in us has given meaning to every effort we make. Thank you for your love throughout this journey. It gives us the courage to keep moving forward. We hope to repay that love with even more and even better content in the days to come.

what i also noticed in this scene — or perhaps im reading too much into it — is that he doesnt even look mad for what she did. it was as if he understood why she had to lie and as much as it breaks him, seeing her cry kills him more

what's a tennyo and why the terms "celestial maiden" or "celestial nymph" used by the translation don't really convey the original meaning and symbolism of what maomao actually calls him all the time.
a thread. 🧵
any time i hesitate trying a new restaurant because im scared its going to be bad and a waste of money i remember bourdain’s advice that to be a foodie you must never be afraid to have a bad meal.
"You seem to know a great deal about rejection. Is this a lesson you've learned from extensive study or do you perhaps owe to experience of a more personal nature?" is one of the classiest clap backs I've ever heard.
Thank you, Mary Bennet.
I used to feel this way because I grew up in Los angeles and felt it was a tourist trap situation but then I lived by Maru in Los Feliz for a couple years and that place always has a line and I work from home and I realized it’s such a fun social activity even if you don’t speak to anyone. It’s like micro-dosing Disneyland. Long queue with a treat at the end, with a handful of random people all at the same place at the same time for the same reason. It became a sweet break in my solo work day to do this. There’s something beautiful about lines to me now
mvs it's 1850s in Aussie. she’s DYING and he’s a DOCTOR and the treatment she needs doesn’t EXIST YET 😭😭 AND HE FALLS ASLEEP WITH HIS FINGERS ON HER PULSE TO KNOW IF SHE'S OK & ALSO REMIND HIMSELF THAT SHE'S STILL ALIVEEEE
The Khao Manee
They might honestly be the most striking of the Thai cats. Completely white fur with clean pink paws and often two different coloured eyes, usually one blue and one gold/green. Their name literally means “white gem” which I think is such a lovely way to describe them because they really do look almost unreal.
Historically these cats were closely associated with Siamese royalty and old records link them to the reign of King Chulalongkorn in the 19th century
When kept inside the royal palace they are believed to bring luck, wealth and protection to the kingdom. They are another breed that appears in the old Tamra Maew manuscripts under the name “Khao Plort” which means pure white.
There’s even a story that when foreigners were actively collecting and exporting Siamese cats to Europe for the pet trade market that the royal family deliberately kept the Khao Manee hidden so they wouldn’t leave the country. It’s probably one of the reasons the breed remained almost unknown outside Thailand for so long.
The actual research is wild. Every time you push down a feeling, your brain has to choose between suppressing that emotion and recording what’s happening around you. It picks the suppression. The memory doesn’t get saved.
A 2000 Stanford study confirmed this: people told to hide their emotions while watching a film remembered far fewer details than people who just reacted naturally. Suppressing emotions uses up mental energy, and that leaves less brain power for saving new memories.
Brain scans show why. A 2012 study found that suppression quiets the hippocampus (your brain’s memory-recording center) right when it should be saving information. The two brain regions that normally team up to lock in memories stop talking to each other.
Over time it gets worse. Suppression keeps cortisol (the stress hormone) elevated, and cortisol shrinks the hippocampus. Chronically stressed people can lose 10 to 15% of its volume. Just three weeks of high cortisol can shrink the tiny connection points between brain cells by about 20%. The good news: studies show this shrinkage can partially reverse once stress levels drop. Not necessarily permanent.
A Finnish study of 1,137 older adults tracked over roughly a decade found that habitual emotion suppressors had nearly 5x the risk of developing dementia, even after controlling for genetics, smoking, obesity, and education.
There’s a better way to handle emotions that doesn’t cost you your memory. It’s called cognitive reappraisal: instead of bottling the feeling, you reframe what’s causing it. (“This meeting isn’t a threat, it’s practice.”) A 2003 Stanford/UC Berkeley study found reappraisers had more positive emotion, better relationships, and higher wellbeing. Suppressors got the opposite on every measure. And reappraisal carries zero memory cost.
The difference comes down to timing. Suppression kicks in after the emotion has already fired, so your brain is fighting its own response while simultaneously trying to record the moment. Reappraisal changes how you interpret the situation before the emotion fully activates. Same event, same person, but your hippocampus stays free to do its actual job: recording your life.
