Susulan isu berbangkit berkenaan pengoperasian Hospital Pasir Gudang (HPG), saya ingin tegaskan bahawa komitmen KKM terhadap negeri Johor kekal utuh.
​
📍 Faktanya, pengisian jawatan klinikal di Johor adalah antara yang tertinggi dalam negara; baik dari segi pegawai farmasi (99%), pegawai pergigian (82%), pegawai perubatan (81%) mahupun pakar perubatan (77%).
​
📍 Pembukaan HPG telah dilaksanakan secara berfasa sejak Ogos 2025. Status pengisian 48% ketika ini; akan mencapai kapasiti operasi 66% menjelang September 2026.
​
KKM kini giat melaksanakan pelan tindakan pengisian untuk mencapai pengoperasian penuh (304 katil, 16 dewan bersalin) menjelang Disember 2026.

📍HPG kini telah mula menawarkan 10 perkhidmatan kepakaran asas (Perubatan Dalaman, Perubatan Kecemasan, Pembedahan Am, Obstetrik & Ginekologi, Pediatrik, Ortopedik, Anaestesiologi, Radiologi serta Patologi). Bidang kepakaran ke-11 iaitu Oftalmologi bakal diperkenalkan dalam tempoh 6 bulan akan datang.

Ini menuntut pengurusan secara strategik tanpa menjejaskan perkhidmatan hospital di negeri-negeri lain.
