First, Esther, I have never for once imagined he is going to win. I am telling you categorically and with every conviction in me that Peter Obi will lose and come a distant third.

Secondly, regarding all the issues you raised in subsequent paragraphs, are you trying to tell me Peter Obi will solve them in four years? If yes, he was governor for eight years. Was he able to solve all the problems bedeviling Anambra State? How many schools did he build? How many jobs did he create? Was he able to lift all Anambrians from poverty?

One thing I have noticed about you guys is that you make sweeping statements as though governance is rocket science. For the record, governance is not rocket science. Every policy takes time to materialize.

Esther, I know you are doing your job, but don't try to gaslight Nigerians with big dreams that Peter Obi could not replicate as governor of Anambra State for eight years. This is not 2022 when Nigerians had limited time to scrutinize his past and empty promises. Three years was enough to understand that Nigeria is too big a dream for Obi to manage.

Esther, Obi has said he is not going to restore subsidy. He will continue with the devaluation of the Naira. Those twin policies are the result of what Nigerians you met at the airport are suffering from. If Peter Obi would continue with those policies that caused inflation, affected our income, and put Nigeria into deeper poverty, how is he different from President Tinubu?

Lastly, relate this message to Obi. I know the damage has already been done. He can still save face. He should step down and support the man who gave him the opportunity in national politics—the man who picked him as vice-presidential candidate against the wish of Igbo leaders in the PDP.
