@Sam_Dumitriu An egg company earning over 60k. I asked for 6 months of bank statements - which disclosed money in of nearly 100k. I asked the credit agency how they obtained their information - the answer was that they called the number given for the company & asked if he was employed. 2/2

@Sam_Dumitriu Landlords have to be more pro-active. Reference agencies used by letting agents are not worth the paper they are written on. I was assured the 2 potential tenants had excellent reference checks. The information provided was clearly suspicious. One worked as a salesman for 1/2
