Alexandra Loveridge

I use to love the immediacy of twitter. Now, I’m not so sure!

[Alexandra Loveridge @afloveridge]

@anthonysegaert @domknight Still blacked out!

[Alexandra Loveridge @afloveridge]

@WhoGivesACrapTP I have emailed you, I have inboxed you on Insta, please contact me regarding an undelivered box. Thanks.

[Alexandra Loveridge @afloveridge]

@IeuanFriedrichs @greglysaght @GracieJHamilton Exactly!

[Alexandra Loveridge @afloveridge]

@IeuanFriedrichs @Seb_Parker @coderugbyau @footyindustryAU @PamelaWhaley Exactly! With support and a plan the Wallaroos could shine like the Matilda’s. Australia is ready for women’s sport.

[Alexandra Loveridge @afloveridge]

@Seb_Parker @coderugbyau @footyindustryAU @PamelaWhaley Potentially none. Because who knows when their games are?! Without promotion and support from the governing body, the general public just don’t know they are even playing…

[Alexandra Loveridge @afloveridge]

@Hugh_96 @OBBY001 Not sure it’s a total departure. But she is currently playing for Easts in the NRLW. Their win! Our loss!

[Alexandra Loveridge @afloveridge]

@Hugh_96 @balumbah @BHillSport @OBBY001 Ha! Just said exactly the same thing on our family chat. Unbelievable that they didn’t see it coming. Good on the football governing body, for backing their girls and leading the charge.

[Alexandra Loveridge @afloveridge]

@OBBY001 @Hugh_96 Yep. Grace Hamilton has made the move. More will follow. How can they stay with the lack of support and/or foresight.

[Alexandra Loveridge @afloveridge]

@balumbah @Hugh_96 @BHillSport @OBBY001 100%

[Alexandra Loveridge @afloveridge]

@Hugh_96 @balumbah @BHillSport @OBBY001 True! And what’s more some lowly comms person will probably cop the blame for this, when really it is higher up that needs sorting out.

[Alexandra Loveridge @afloveridge]

@tyra_aaaa Exactly! Crazy the wags of Wallabies have been treated better than the Wallaroos. But even crazier that https://t.co/7YPz49tcL1 posted it on instagram! Unfortunately some lowly comms person will probs loose their job, but really it it higher up the chain that needs sorting out!

[Liv @liv4687]

From a football perspective, this statement from the Wallaroos makes you realise how respected the Matildas are by their federation compared to other women’s national teams in the country. There is still a long way to go.

[Alicia Audrey Maher @Alicia_Maher]

Every Wallaroos player has posted this on their socials this afternoon. Do better @RugbyAU.

[Alexandra Loveridge @afloveridge]

@IeuanFriedrichs @Booners05 @LeapingFences Well said!

[𝙅𝙤 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙨 🖤🏉 @LeapingFences]

😬 I have removed the names from these posts intentionally.

[rowan shaw @frankideas]

@ScrumQueens @RugbyAU @WallaroosRugby All the Wallaroos are posting. They started posting last night when some of the Wallaby WAGs were posting on TicTok about how generous RA were being putting them up in hotels and flying them to say goodbye to the men

[Grace Hamilton @GracieJHamilton]

your move

[Alexandra Loveridge @afloveridge]

@balumbah @Hugh_96 @BHillSport @OBBY001 @TheMatildas You read more about it on @hersuperw instagram page

[Alexandra Loveridge @afloveridge]

@balumbah @Hugh_96 @BHillSport @OBBY001 And crazily https://t.co/7YPz49tcL1 Insta reposted a TikTok post by a wag of a Wallaby living the highlife at Rugby Aus expense! (It has been removed now.) But yet there is no money (or plan) for the Wallaroos! Seriously poor form. Especially in light of the @TheMatildas success.

[Alexandra Loveridge @afloveridge]

@Hugh_96 have you seen this conversation today?

[rowan shaw @frankideas]

You can understand how the @WallaroosRugby players are feeling after seeing how WAGs of @wallabies get more money spent on them than players do. Explanations will be interesting.
