Clarification concerning a voicenote of mine from 2021 that is being circulated.
It has come to my attention that there is a voicenote of mine being circulated concerning individuals speaking against Abu Iyaadh. This occurred in 2021 way before the issue developed into what it has become.
Firstly it should be known:
1. This audio was in relation to that which was being mentioned concerning some of the early writings of Abu Iyaadh regarding covid related issues, and that those writings were being used to claim that Abu Iyaadh was intending the rulers with his speech. I did not believe at the time that was the case (i.e. that he intended the rulers) and so I expressed that in that audio.
2. We advised in private that much could be misunderstood from his writings and he consequently put out a clarification concerning his intent. That was the end of that chapter. The voicenote does not relate to anything that transpired after that.
3. As for that which followed this, and continues to manifest, of ill speech concerning Ahlul Ilm wal Fadl (from them Shaikh Abdullah Al Bukhāri and Shaikh Arafāt Al Muhammadi) and the ongoing support and promotion of those who actively do so, then I DO NOT agree with any of it. No-one would have foreseen that the issue would have developed into what it has become, nor that there would be anyone in support of this.
Wallahul Must’aan
Important principles still needed today, for those who now say: "You used to support Amjad Rafiq Abu Iyaad & now you don't..."
Timeless principles about jarh & ta'deel, sincerity, honesty, loyalty to principles & not individuals, many fundamentals needed by our brothers today.
📣Fasting the day of 'Ashura
What days should you combine with it, the day before, day after or should you fast all three days?

May Allāh reward our beloved Shaykh, Dr. ‘Arafāt al-Muhamadī @Arafatbinhassan حفظه الله تعالى, for his timely words of guidance today.
It was a brief yet tremendous reminder filled with benefits:
Seek knowledge from the scholars. Remain sincere in giving da‘wah. Abandon sins and acts of disobedience. Strive for hijrah to Muslim lands. Visit one another and strengthen brotherhood. Cooperate upon righteousness and piety. Beware of riya’ (showing off). Beware of excessive speech. Beware of the craving for leadership and status as this is the root of fitna in current times.
A reminder worthy of reflection and implementation.

🚧 Markaz Bukhari Project Update 🚧
Today, our brothers were once again out on the streets of Liverpool, visiting local businesses and collecting donations for the Markaz Bukhari Project.
Alhamdulillāh, the community continues to show its support for a project dedicated to the worship of Allāh and the establishment of the Sunnah. These regular and consistent rounds bring in vital funds for our project.
With Phase 1 largely complete, we are now entering Phase 2: the internal works.
⚡ Electrical installation 🏗️ Insulation works 🚰 Plumbing and pipework 🧱 Preparing the Markaz to open‼️
By the permission of Allāh, as previously mentioned, we are working with a Muslim construction company that has committed to completing the project at cost, greatly reducing the overall expense, May Allāh reward them with much good. However, the reality remains that the work can only continue as donations from our generous brothers and sisters continue to come in.
We need your help so work can continue‼️
Did you know the dawah in Liverpool was established in 2011, by hiring venues we have managed to consistently teach the community essential books in Tawheed, Aqeedah, Hadith, Fiqh and Seerah. However every location hired is temporary in nature and we have found ourselves moving many times in the past.
The Dawah, Alhamdulilallah, now owns a large building we are renovating. Strive with us in achieving something special for our community; donate and help establish a permanent home for this blessed dawah Salafiyyah in Liverpool.
Every brick laid, cable installed, and pipe fitted is another step towards establishing a permanent home for Ahlus-Sunnah in Liverpool.
May Allāh reward every donor, volunteer, and supporter, and place this effort on the scales of their good deeds.
No donation is too small, for Allāh is the One who rewards His sincere believers.

Question: Can you show me the ulema who said anything other than obedience to the Muslim authorities during the fitna of COVID?
Sure.
1) I asked the mufti Shaykh 'Abdul-'Azeez Aal Shaykh (may Allah have Mercy on him) questions about what to do specifically when living under non-Muslim authorities. His answers are here: https://t.co/Nn6sYwgxRd
2) Shaykh Saalih al-Fowzaan, the current mufti (may Allah preserve him) mentions the obligation of distancing in the prayer rows, based on the Quranic command to take precautions, not simply obedience to rulers. There is no specification of his country or only the Muslim lands. That was imagined by people who did not want his guidance in this matter. Here: https://t.co/Nn6sYwgxRd
3) The Lajnah Daa'imah (Standing Committee) for Fatwaa in Saudi Arabia answered many questions, nothing at all was indicated in them that these issues were only for Saudi Arabia or only under Muslim rulers who require such things. Again, the assumption that it was only for those living under Muslim leaders is imagined, not stated nor implied. Here: https://t.co/EMlvqINmon
4) Another series of beneficial advice from the former Mufti (may Allah have Mercy on him) on essential topics related to Covid-19. Again, the assumption that these beautiful points were only for Muslims living under Islamic governments is not stated nor implied, just a figment of imagination, based on information-bias. Here: https://t.co/OBP1aIVXO1
5+) There are many more Q&A's and other topics covered, of great benefit by Allah's Permission, which can be accessed here: https://t.co/k2fpVwcfHD
Many doubts raised by Abu Iyaad Amjad Rafiq and others are addressed without mentioning names, yet the issues are handled in a sober and consistent way in the comments of these articles (above), by Allah's Permission.
Also, there is an unresolved problem with the assumption that Muslims in Muslim lands would do something impermissible & Islamically unjustifiable in their religion out of obedience to their rulers; it is not from the religion of Islam. We obey our Muslim leaders in matters which are permissible only, as a principle. The scholars know this more than anyone, so they are the last people who would suggest obeying rulers in impermissible things. Meaning: These precautions, after the due diligence that people of knowledge are known for, were deemed as necessary for the preservation of life and safety, and this is why they directed the people to them, not to simply satisfy the Muslim leaders.
I hope this answer provides some insight, and Allah knows best.
