I'm ashamed to say that we are a member of a society where such incidents against women and girls happen. This has to be condemned. I can't describe the pain as I also have a daughter and she's a doctor, thank God she's not in India, she's in the UK.

But sometimes your mind just stops working. Like I said, I am sure she would have reacted differently now.

@Priya_Priya_19 Thank you for the kind words. We were young back then. Didn’t understand the gravity of the situation much. But as teenagers and her besties, we did everything we could to make her feel better. Today, we would have taken different actions of course.
