If all the nurses in a hospital called in sick, it would be a crisis. I think most of us are sick of the education workers thinking they're above anyone else.

@SummerRainzz @CP24 Even though it's not teachers this time, you're not wrong. The nurses union is always out there marching with the teachers "in solidarity." Where are the teachers when the nurses are burning out, told they can't take vacation, working short, and working OT to support eachother?

@IronOmie @idehubAHK @strauss_matt My best friend would go back. She has kids and rent/OSAP to pay, took a huge paycut and was working for minimum wage to support her family. She said as much as she hates it, she would go the day they called her because the pay doesn't compare.

Is that a little easier for you to accept? Your mum or dad being cared for by a + symptomatic nurse vs. An unjabbed nurse that tests daily? Hmmmm.

I'm also sorry to read about you mom. It's so sad what it is doing to people of all ages. 💙💙💙

Given the choice, I'm sure he would have chosen COVID instead.
