President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, recently made calls to Rep. Leke Abejide urging him to "stay in ADC and ruin it." This behavior is uncharacteristic of someone who is, by all estimations, a product of democracy.
Both Femi Gbajabiamila and his principal would not have come anywhere near the country’s highest office were it not for democracy.

Resources: Does Arewa have what it takes to survive? 5 — How Taraba’s natural wealth could reshape the North
Taraba is predominantly agrarian and ranks among Nigeria’s most fertile regions.
The state has over 44,000 square kilometres of arable land suitable for year-round farming.
Major crops include maize, rice, sorghum, millet, cassava, and yam.
It is also a notable producer of tea, cocoa, and coffee, particularly on the Mambilla Plateau, one of the country’s most elevated agricultural zones.

It is difficult to interpret the ongoing trials of some northern politicians by the EFCC and ICPC as anything other than political. In pursuing these cases, the government has become relentless and overtly aggressive.
Many are now questioning whether these agencies are being fully exploited to pressure the northern region and suppress its political class. If that is the case, the motive remains unclear.
