@africanCITIES1 @jdpeterson He actually claimed to be God though. In John 10:30, Jesus claimed that he and the father are one. Also, he claimed to be able to do attributed to God. This includes forgiving sins(mark 2:10) and being the Lord of the sabbath (mark 2:28).
Note that God himself called Jesus God.
