@CarlZha That's where a lot of the world economy is going to be in 50 years with HITL (human in the loop) regulations. People just sitting and watching the robots just to reassure the public.
@TOPDOGE007@EndWokeness "Rights" and Free Speech are not capitalist.
A capitalist society is just a society controlled by private investors, that's it.
All of the other enlightenment values have nothing, really, to do with capitalism in itself.
@cb_doge Money is how we distribute decision making power in a market economy.
Elon has decision making power over twitter because he used money to buy ownership in the company.
@rjordanriley@cb_doge I know. I think the line was illustrative of the attitude of this bank CEO who kickstarted the 2008 financial crisis. Completely out of touch, it's all just numbers to him.
@georgeorch@damianplayer People have been talking about AI for decades (especially in 2015 to 2017), especially around discussions about the technological singularity.
Most of them just thought it was a far off science fiction thing.
One of the classic rhetorical features of authoritarian propaganda is portraying the "enemy" as simultaneously strong (an existential, powerful threat that justifies fear, mobilization, and repression) and weak (easily defeated once the "true" people unite).
This contradiction keeps followers feeling besieged yet ultimately superior.
@elonmusk White South Africans are generally more exposed to country wide sanctions, especially those involved in exports and asset ownership.
In other words, such sanctions would disproportionately harm white South Africans.
@EgoistChriss@GnarZombi@TheNetDaily There are plenty of white people who practice new age spirituality and all sorts of pseudoscience to this day. It's not a race thing.
@ArthurMacwaters@elonmusk@grok What a strange question. They are talking about Starlink, not SpaceX and Tesla. Also they are talking about the South African registered branch of Starlink, not the whole company.
