Anyone else disappointed with the @LG smart TV integration with @Google Assistant?

I can't control my new LG CX 65" with my Google Home speaker. I want to say 'Hey Google, TV On/Off.' Multiple reports of this issue on Google forums with no solution.

@LGUSSupport Any pointers?

I signed up for the "$65 For Life 1Gbps Internet" promo in December after I moved to Brooklyn. The agent didn't apply the promo when signing me up. I called 20+ times in the past 3 months and havent gotten anywhere.
