So people have been saying they can't see the quote written on the shirt.
This is the quote: 👇
“Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women.” — Maya Angelou.
It's time to finally end impunity for police brutality and torture in #Nigeria. Send an email to President @MBuhari to demand justice for SARS officers' victims and the reform of police.#EndSARS https://t.co/pIhXfM1560
But I know this is Nigeria and Patriarchy rules supreme here. Any woman that complains is tagged "bitter."
Either you talk sense into their empty old heads or you give them sack letters.
This is 2021, stop harassing women!
@ZenithBank
The services at @ZenithBank, Lagere, Ile-Ife is great quite alright, I won't deny that.
However, the management should call the men at the security gate to order. They're old, old enough to have retired already but like a Yoruba adage says: "Àgbà o kan ogbón."
. Call them to order to leave women the hell alone! To stop trying to "toast" young women or call them "my height" and "my colour." They never grabbed or inappropriately touched any man. They would never do that to men even if they were gay!
The only reason I don't have hypertension over these awon oloriibu ASUU and FG is because I don't intend to finish my education here anymore.
Even if na Ghana nle nle nibeyen, emi n japa nitemi.
Like I said at the beginning, this is in preparation for the PAD PROJECT we started last year. You can contribute towards the project by sending anything you have to:0006838471, Tewogbade Dasola Bolutife, Stanbic. Nothing is too small.
Thank you so so much.
@Paragon_SAM@NotjustTalks I think the age set is done as a safety net, but it is also influenced by ageism. That ageist assumption can only be crumbled by a movement of under 18s to be considered adult. This means that if there is any campaign to lower that age, it should be by citizens less than 18.
@NotjustTalks A7: That suggestion turns common sense upside down. Suggesting that child brides should be allowed to vote means that the National Assembly (the makers of the Nigerian Law) is normalizing child brides and child marriage. This is disgusting.
