a large part of this conversation that people actually refuse to address is the constant hostility bisexuals experience from WITHIN the queer community. when yall treat bisexuals as inherently male-centered and straight-adjacent, no shit ppl wanna avoid identifying as it.
I've found people get very combative when you say you're treated differently when fat vs. thin. People just don't want to believe that fat people, esp fat women, are treated poorly by society. Losing weight didn't solve all my problems but it did make my life way better.
