Once again, Black people have proven to be the Democrats' most reliable voter base.

However, Black folks only make up 12% of the people that voted. We as a whole made up roughly 1/3 the amount of yt women voters, for instance. (🧵):

2/ Here's the point: if we can all get on the same page on a set of issues/non-negotiables, then both parties wouldn't be able to continue to use us (the people who built the USA) as a political hockey puck.

1/ A common perception I hear is that "we don't have anything to show for our dedication to the Democrats."

In my opinion, it's because our interests are too scattered: we all want to be safe, but beyond that - there isn't a set of values we can all truly say that we agree on.
