2Tim1:6-For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands… There are a lot of activities on a cruise. Our Alaskan Cruise had regular times of for “karaoke”. On one night we went.
Paul encouraged Timothy to “fan into flame” his gift. The picture here is of a fire that has died down. Coals still remain but need to be “coaxed” with air and fuel to get a flame going. Let’s allow the Spirit to “blow” into us to “reignite” that gift.
The Enemy wants to keep you “isolated” and “struggling”. Let’s let the Spirit guide us to the guides we need to help us move “forward”. God has some divine appointments for you. Reach out for the “assistance” you need. #GrowDeep
Some help us “understand” the things of God like Philip did. Others help us “navigate” career choices and challenges. Others help us with “relationship” issues. Who are you “enlisting” as guides on your journey? We’re not “designed” to travel this life alone.
The melting and breaking away formed so many beautiful sculptures for us to enjoy. You too are one of God’s sculptures. Life may seem as tho it’s cold, frozen, and unforgiving.
But, as God “breathes” into your situation, He starts to break and melt away pieces so the “beauty” He created can be seen again. He is still at work. Let’s allow His breath to “warm” us and His hand to “form” us. He wants you not just to see His beauty in others.
I’ve seen pictures of icebergs before. But, what I didn’t know was the various shapes and sizes we would see. Masterpieces of “ice sculptures” were created as a result of the calving process of breaking off a glacier.
Ps139:14-I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and I know this very well…. On a recent Alaska Cruise, we spent a day in Glacier Bay. What caught my attention were the thousands of floating “pieces of ice”.
Even to “shape” or “reshape” us for His intended use. The process tho painful and difficult at times, will bring forth something beautiful in our life. You may not see it now. But as the “cooling process” sets in, the beauty He has fashioned in you will come forth.
