🚨🎙️Wayne Rooney: “Arsenal have been robbed tonight” 🤯
Rooney 🗣️ “I’ll be completely honest, Arsenal were absolutely robbed tonight, there is no other way to put it. You look at that foul on Noni Madueke in the box; it’s a stonewall, 100% clear penalty. How the referee or VAR hasn't given that is beyond me, and it completely changes the dynamic of a Champions League final.
But for me, the moment that truly gave it away the moment you knew exactly what the referee was doing was that halftime whistle. To blow the whistle right as Arsenal are literally standing there about to take a corner? I’ve played this game a long time, and you rarely see that unless there’s a blatant bias. It was shocking, and it set the tone for everything that followed.
In the second half, it became a totally different game, and not because of the football. The referee made absolutely sure that every single 50/50 call, every little nudge, and every major decision went straight to PSG. It completely killed Arsenal’s momentum. But to be fair, I’m not even surprised. We saw the exact same story when they played Bayern Munich earlier in the tournament. The officiating was heavily skewed then, and it’s happened again on the biggest stage.
PSG might be lifting the trophy, but they cannot honestly look at themselves in the mirror and be proud of the way they’ve won this final. To win the biggest prize in club football like that? It leaves a horrible taste. Arsenal deserved so much more tonight.”
Arsenal just won a UCL QF away game, and I have to read people whining about the way we did it.
We've been to 3 semi finals of the UCL EVER.
Top of the Prem, could go 12 clear this weekend.
Can't be having this from our own fans who saw the pretty/ineffective football of the banter years.
Painful reading. Give it a rest.
Glad the world gets to see the shameless pundits who are platformed commenting on Arsenal.
Are you calling Tuchel a liar? Stop the dishonest discourse.
With all due respect, I wont take lessons on integrity from a man who pulled out of representing the 3 Lions to do this?
🎙️ “How do you protect Max Dowman?”
🗣️ Mikel Arteta: “I need your help. If I have 15 questions on Max it doesn’t really help. If we just bring the temperature down and understand what is the best thing for this boy.” ❌
Taking all delays into account, Arsenal spent an average of 31.4 seconds to get the ball back into play from corners, goal kicks, throws and free-kicks last night vs Brighton.
There have been 195 instances of a team taking longer than this in a Premier League match in 2025-26.
The most damning indictment on the state of the game right now is that fans, managers and media are forcing a narrative of Arsenal bending the rules of football when they’re in a title race with a club that is evading 115 charges for bending the rules of football.
Declan Rice: “If you can’t win a game, don’t lose. We’re still four points clear at the top & we’ve got to keep looking forward. It’s been a rollercoaster of a season - if anyone thinks it’s going to be easy going for the title, they’re naive.” 😤
