EPFO is a nightmare. I've been trying for over a year to merge two accounts (past and present employer).

All other information has been same for 20 years. Yet merger denied.

All I get is cryptic dismissals of complaints - case closed.

No interest paid for two years.

Between tax, epfo and every other government service - unending KYC and unending bureaucracy. It's fatiguing.

SEBI will keep shouting at you that 89% retailers lose money in trading.

But #SEBI will quietly hide the fact that 95% of retail investors lost money in investment. Most of them in MANIPULATED OPERATED stocks.

SEBI will NEVER tell you 99% small retailers lost money in IPOs which were falsely pushed before listing and SEBI did nothing.

You can ask all investors who invested near 1990-2000. The stocks in which they invested, half of them have disappeared from exchanges. Not to mention, it was SEBI's job to evaluate companies before allowing them to list.

You know why SEBI closed their eyes? Cause they are involved in the game. They are a friend of the Gang.

They will never tell you these dangers of investment. If you're an active investor, go for it. But if not, better focus more on trading.

@mamulitaxpayer I would probably have been fine had my wallet balance been earning some interest, but that's not the case. No win in sight for the pithy retail investor! Grr
