THE $100 MILLION CORONATION: WHO REALLY OWNS BYRON DONALDS?

The curtain has been pulled back on the donor machine surrounding Byron Donalds.

IT'S BRUTAL.

Donalds is sitting on an election operation boasting more than $100 MILLION, fueled by some of the richest and most politically connected interests in America.

Follow the money.

💰 Jeff Yass: $7.5 MILLION. Yass is the billionaire whose Susquehanna International Group holds a massive stake in ByteDance, the Chinese parent company of TikTok. Miami New Times identifies Yass as Donalds’ largest individual donor.

💰 Richard Uihlein: $2 MILLION.

💰 GEO Group: $1.5 MILLION. The private prison and detention giant operates facilities in Florida and depends heavily on government business.

💰 NextEra Energy: $1 MILLION. One of the most powerful utility interests in Florida.

Then there is the Donalds family business story.

Florida Bulldog documented millions of dollars flowing through education management companies associated with Erika Donalds, including companies she owns, while Florida taxpayers finance the charter and school choice ecosystem surrounding them.

AND IT GOES FURTHER.

The Donalds political operation has become a closed circle connecting billionaire donors, school choice interests, private prisons, utilities, Republican power brokers and the Donalds family business network. He alleges that the same donor class financing the political brand stands to benefit from policies controlled by the next governor.

BLIND LOYALTY DOES NOT ANSWER QUESTIONS.

Donalds acts like he is a MAGA candidate, but his actions reject the idea that he represents America First nationalism.

Why?

Because America First is supposed to mean AMERICANS FIRST.

It should not be billionaire donors first, nor private prison contractors, utility monopolies, politically connected education companies, or any other segment of the donor class placed ahead of the public interest, because governance in a democracy is supposed to prioritize citizens over financial backers and special interests.

$100 MILLION DOES NOT JUST BUY TELEVISION ADS.

IT BUYS ACCESS.

IT BUYS INFLUENCE.

AND FLORIDA VOTERS HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO ASK WHAT THOSE DONORS EXPECT FOR THEIR MONEY.

Then ask the question the political establishment does not want asked:

WHO WILL BYRON DONALDS REALLY WORK FOR IF HE BECOMES GOVERNOR?
