Have you heard the latest episode of #IMKC w/@sandylocks? Listen now to hear some of today's most prominent racial justice advocates reflect on the contemporary significance of the passing of the 1965 Voting Rights Act & how the battle for our rights and freedoms continues today.
@LFPress@HeatheratLFP These comments are horrible. A true false quiz is not appropriate in this case. The language used is hurtful. Imagine if this was a quiz about the Holocaust. It would never happen. Respect is critical and an emotionally safe class is where you can learn.
Worth listening to this presentation by the Finnish President regarding the framework of a more legitimate Ukrainian ceasefire negotiation than the attempted hijacking of one currently underway between Putin and Trump.
In order to achieve a sustainable peace the parties most directly involved must be front and centre, especially Ukraine, other European border states at threat from Putin, Europe as a whole, and the NATO alliance.
Key points are that neither Russia - nor Russia and America - decide who is or not a member of either the EU or NATO. Those are decisions to be made by those organizations.
In the case of NATO that means the alliance members, fore-mostly - but not unilaterally - America. It would be tragic if the American President's unilateral recklessness results in America withdrawing from NATO for the life of his Presidency.
But it would be even more tragic if his ill-advised and arrogant pursuit of a pseudo peace trophy leaves Europe exposed by enabling even greater aggression and war crimes by Putin. Read your history to understand how that happens.
